The verb "savoir" in French means "to know" (a fact, how to do something, or something abstract).
Conjugation of "Savoir" in Present Tense:
1. Je sais – I know
Example: Je sais la réponse. (I know the answer.)
2. Tu sais – You know (informal)
Example: Tu sais où il est ? (Do you know where he is?)
3. Il/Elle/On sait – He/She/We (informal) know
Example: Elle sait conduire. (She knows how to drive.)
4. Nous savons – We know
Example: Nous savons la vérité. (We know the truth.)
5. Vous savez – You know (formal or plural)
Example: Vous savez parler français. (You know how to speak French.)
6. Ils/Elles savent – They know

Uses of "Savoir"

3. To learn/find out (in past tense):

Difference Between "Savoir" and "Connaître"
Savoir: Used for facts, skills, or information.
Example: Je sais où il habite. (I know where he lives.)
Connaître: Used for familiarity with people, places, or things.
Example: Je connais Paris. (I know Paris.)
